ABOUT US
At Wild Routes, LLC, we're proud to be a Fredericksburg-based company with a deep connection to the Shenandoah region. With extensive experience guiding in Shenandoah and a history that includes 11 thru-hikes and international trekking routes, we're excited to establish our roots and create new adventures right here in Virginia.
Wild Routes is a small, hiker-owned business dedicated to offering a range of outdoor experiences. We host a variety of events and adventures, from hiking challenges and guided trips to backpacking 101 courses. In the near future, we’ll also be introducing foraging and orienteering services, expanding our commitment to helping others explore and connect with the natural world.

Our group had a fantastic sunset hike to Stonyman with Meegana from Wild Routes. She is very knowledgeable about the trails in Shenandoah National Park (having completed all of them!) and chose a great hike for us. She gave us tips to prepare in advance and was well equipped for any emergency just in case. The pace was perfect—some of us were a bit slower than others but she kept careful track of us! The summit was spectacular! Another highlight was some delicious hot chocolate after our hike—perfect for the end of our windy but exhilarating adventure!
